The Wagner College Seahawks are coming off an impressive 67-50 win on Saturday over a Monmouth team that entered the game in third place in the NEC. Wagner received 18 points from senior center Kelly Clark (Neptune, NJ/ St. Rose) and the Seahawks shot a season-best 57 percent from the field in posting the 17-point victory. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Seahawks who continue to receive balanced scoring.

Four Seahawks Averaging Double Figures
Wagner and Robert Morris are the only two teams in the NEC with four players averaging in double figures. Clark leads the way at 12.7 ppg. and also leads the NEC in field goal percentage at .559. Sophomore Marie-Laurence Archambault (Montreal, Quebec/ Montmorency) checks in at 12.1 ppg. and is the NEC leader in three-point percentage at .442. Senior guard Megan Mahoney (Staten Island, NY/ St. Peter's), who went over the 1,000-point mark for her career against Quinnipiac on Jan. 24, averages 11.8 ppg. while senior forward Ashley Olsen (Staten Island, NY/ Notre Dame Academy) comes in at 10.1 ppg. and a team-high 8.3 rpg., which places her in fourth place in the NEC. 

Most Wins in Seven Years
The 10 wins surpass last season's win total of nine and are the most wins by the Seahawks since the 2003-04 team went 11-17.

Double Digit Wins
Wagner's 17-point win over Monmouth is tied for the third-largest margin of victory by the Seahawks this season. Wagner owns a 19-point win over Columbia (12/1), an 18-point win over Vermont (12/29) and a 17-point win over Dartmouth (12/30). Wagner now owns seven wins that have come by double-digit margins.

McBride Is Back
A key to Wagner's win over Monmouth were the 13 points scored he bench off tby hard-luck senior guard Stephanie McBride (Mechanicville, NY/ Catholic Central) . For McBride, who has missed seven games with two different injuries, the 13 points equaled her season high against Siena on Nov. 20.

About FDU
Fairleigh Dickinson comes into the game sporting an 11-11 overall record, 4-7 in the NEC. Last time out, the Knights dropped a n 83-78 decision at Mount St. Mary's on Saturday.  The Knights are led in scoring by junior guard Marlyah Laury who averages 15.4 ppg. which is second in the NEC. Senior guard Alyssa Mayrose checks in at 9.4 ppg.while junior center Esther Wallace is the team's leading rebounder at 6.9 boards per game.
