Staten Island, NY -
The Wagner College women's basketball team (9-9, 2-5 NEC), fresh off a thrilling win over Sacred Heart on Saturday, hosts Quinnipiac (9-9, 6-1 NEC) at the Spiro Sports Center tonight at 7:00 pm.

With the win over Sacred Heart, the Seahawks equaled their win total from last season when Wagner went 9-21. The Seahawks are gunning for their third straight NEC win. Wagner is led in scoring by junior center Kelly Clark who averages 12.6 points per game and leads the NEC in field goal percentage (.554). Clark sank the first three-point basket attempt of her career, narrowly beating the final buzzer, as the Seahawks recorded a dramatic 66-65 win over Sacred Heart.

Senior guard Megan Mahoney tossed in 22 points in the victory and enters the Quinnipiac game with 999 career points. Mahoney scored 498 of those points at Fordham University before transferring to Wagner. The Staten Island native has scored 499 points in a Wagner uniform.

These teams met in their NEC opener back on Dec. 4 and the Bobcats came away with an 85-72 victory despite 18 points and nine rebounds from senior forward Ashley Olsen. The Bobcats were led by 14 points from Felicia Barron. Wagner has three players averaging in double figures in Clark (13.6), Mahoney (13.1) and sophomore forward Marie-Laurence Archambault (12.6).

Quinnipiac is led in scoring by Courtney Kaminski who averages 13.0 ppg. while Barron checks in at 12.3.
