Staten Island, NY – Freshman attack Cody Isdaner (Gladwyn, PA/Episcopal Academy) has been tabbed NEC Rookie of the Week after scoring four goals and dishing out one assist in Wagner's only game of the week, a heartbreaking 8-7 defeat to Canisius on Apr. 17. 

Isdaner, who also led the team in ground balls with six vs. Canisius, continues to lead the Seahawks in scoring with 19 points on 13 goals and six assists. 

Wagner is in its final season of competing in the MAAC as the NEC will be adding men's lacrosse next season. In anticipation of the 2011 inaugural NEC season, the conference is naming weekly award winners during the current season.
