Hamden, CT - The Green & White are looking are looking to improve to 3-0 on the road this season and 4-2 overall when they travel to Hamden, CT to meet Quinnipiac in a Noon start on Saturday.
Wagner is coming off a rousing 69-50 win at Columbia on Thursday night as 6-3 junior center
Kelly Clark led the way with 27 points and 15 rebounds, both career highs. Wagner trailed by three at the half before taking control of the game with a 15-3 run to open the second half.
In the NEC opener for both teams, Quinnipiac enters the contest with a record of 1-5. The Bobcats dropped their first games of the season before breaking through with a 76-67 home win over Vermont on Wednesday. Quinnipiac is led in scoring by sophomore guard Felicia Barron who checks in at 11.0 points per game. Barron is the lone Bobcat averaging in double figures.
The Coaches - Head coach Gela Mikalauskas is in her 17th season on the Wagner sidelines with a record of 205-253 record. On the opposing sideline will be Tricia Fabbri who is in her 16th season at the helm of the Quinnipiac program.
Last Year vs. Quinnipiac - The teams split their two meetings last season, each holding serve on their respective home courts. On Jan. 9, 2010, Quinnipiac came away with a 66-56 victory. On Jan. 28, 2010, Wagner returned the favor with a 72-58 win at the Spiro Sports Center.

Clark's Career Game - Junior center
Kelly Clark posted career highs with 27 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Seahawks to a rousing 69-50 win at Columbia (12/2). Clark also was 11-of-15 from the field with the 11 field goals being a career high. Clark's previous career high in points was 16 at Monmouth on Feb. 28, 2009 and her previous best rebounding game was 12 at Army on Nov. 13, 2009.

Olsen With the Rebound - Senior forward
Ashley Olsen has been on strong on the boards in Wagner's first four games and leads the team in the rebounding department with a 7.4, average which ranks ninth in the NEC.
McBride Notches Career Highs – Senior guard
Stephanie McBride opened the season with a career-high nine rebounds vs. Army (11/12) and followed up that effort by dishing out a career-high six assists vs. Siena (11/20), a figure that she matched vs. Colgate (11/23). McBride enters the Quinnipiac game ranked No.2 in the NEC iwith 4.2 assists per game.

Amoroso Sees First Action - Freshman forward Laura Amarosa (Kirkland, Quebec/ Phillips Academy) saw the first action of her career vs. Albany, (11/27) playing three minutes. Amoroso is one of three Canadians on the Seahawk roster along with Fournier and Archambault.
