- After playing their first three games on the road the Wagner Seahawks return to the friendly confines of the Spiro Sports Center for the Green & White's home-opener against the Siena Saints.

The Coaches - Head coach Gela Mikalauskas is in her 16th season on the Wagner sidelines with a record of 193-232 record. On the opposing sideline will be Siena head coach Gina Castelli, who is in her 20th season in Loudonville while compiling a 299-245 record. Castelli has also collected seven MAAC Regular Season Championships and one MAAC Tournament Championship.

The Series - Wagner is 4-6 all-time against Siena. Head coach Gela Mikalauskas was the Seahawk coach in all but one of the games, going 4-5.

Scouting Siena -
Siena has started out the year 0-2 with losses to Illinois and Eastern Michigan, having been outscored by an average an 27.0 ppg. Last season, the Saints went 10-18 and were selected to finish eighth (out of 10 teams) in the ultra-competitive MAAC.

Siena is led by junior Serena Moore, who is averaging a team-best 12.5 ppg with 5.0 rpg. Rounding out the double-figure scorers are senior Allie Lindemann (12.0 ppg) and sophomore Maja Gerlyng (10.0 ppg).

Home Openers - The Seahawks will be going for their fourth-straight home-opening win tonight against Siena (11/24). Wagner is 25-14 all-time in home openers while coach Gela Mikalauskas is 11-4.
