Holmdel, NJ – Freshman Zachary Spector (Yaphank, NYLongwood
) led the Seahawk harriers as the Green & White placed eighth in the Monmouth Invitational.
Spector brought in 33rd place in Monmouth's annual event with a time of 27:52. This is the second time in as many races that Spector has had the top Seahawk time.
Sophomore Derek Rammelkamp (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) clocked in at 28:12, good for the 42nd spot. Senior Allen Koehler (Okeana, OH,William Henry Harrison
) continues to speed past the competition, finishing right behind D. Rammelkamp with a 43rd place finish in 28:14.
Finishing 50th was freshman Thomas Iannacone (Havertown, PASt. Joe's Prep
) with a time of 28:43. Rounding out the rest of the Seahawk scorers were sophomore Thomas Rammelkamp (Miller Place NY/Miller Place) with a 61st place finish in 28:43 and graduate student Brian Halling (Amherst, NHSouhegan
) who clocked in at 28:54, good for 73rd.
The Seahawks return to action on Saturday, September 27 where they will take on the field of the Fairfield Invitational.
