The Seahawks have now won three straight games to improve to 3-1 while the Lions fall to 0-5. Assistant coach Max Good is serving as acting coach in Bayno's absence.

Llew Radford (Newport News, VA/ Heritage), who was named the NEC Player of the Week earlier in the day, and fifth-year senior forward
Jamal Smith (Baltimore, MD. Towson Catholic) added 12 points apiece. Fifth-year senior guard
Justin Drummond (Baltimore, MD/ McDonogh) chipped in with 10.
It was raining three's early for the Seahawks as Wagner's backcourt banged home seven shots from beyond the arc in 16 attempts during the opening stanza in taking a 36-28 halftime lead. Mundweiler led with 3-of-7 shooting from three-point range in the opening half, freshman guard
Chris Martin (Sicklerville, NJ/ Apex Academies) hit two treys while Drummond and
Doug Elwell (Staten Island, NY/ Monsignor Farrell) hit one apiece.
A Drummond three-pointer from the top of the key two minutes into the second half left staked the Seahawks to an 11-point lead at 41-30. A Mundweiler three-pointer with 17:00 left ballooned the lead to 14 at 44-30 and the Seahawks never looked back Martin finished the game with nine points while fellow freshman guard
Tyler Murray (Toronto, Ontario/Eastern Commerce) tossed in a career-high six points including his the first three-pointer of his young career.
Mundweiler, who moved into second on the Wagner all-time three-pointers made list in last Saturday's win at Stony Brook, now has 224 threes for his career, and trails only the all-time leader, Dedrick Dye (1999-2003), who drained 270 shots from beyond the arc.
Wagner out-shot the Lions 44%-35% from the field while LMU won the rebounding battle, 38-36.
NOTES - The 11 made three pointers by Wagner were the most by the Seahawks since March 1, 2007 when they drained 11 in an NEC Tournament game at Sacred Heart. The 3-1 start is Wagner's best four-game record since the 2005-06 season when Wagner also won three of its first four games.
The Seahawks will look to make it four wins in a row when they travel to Lewisburg, PA to meet Bucknell in a 7:00 pm tilt.
