Spector battled the elite of the NEC and brought home a sixth place finish with a time of 27:05. By finishing the eight kilometer course in sixth, the three-time NEC Rookie of the Week closes out the NEC season with his best finishing placement of the season, topping his eighth place performance at the Monmouth Cross Country Kick-Off to begin the season. Spector also topped his previous time at the Holmdel County Park on September 19, 2008 by nearly 50 seconds.

Thomas Iannacone (Havertown, PA/St. Joe's Prep) and sophomore
Derek Rammelkamp (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) took 24th, 27th and 29th places, respectively. T. Rammelkamp's time of 27:54, Iannacone's of 27:58 and D Rammelkamp's 28:04 time were all better than their previous performances at the course.
Junior
James Johnston (Middle Island, NY/Longwood) closes out the Seahawk scoring with a 40th place finish in 28:16. Senior
Allen Koehler (Okeana, OH/William Henry Harrison) took 46th with a time of 28:23 and sophomore
Brian Doxey (West Islip, NY/West Islip) clocked in at 29:34, good for 63rd.
The Green & White men have never finished in the top-five at the NEC Championships until this year's outstanding show. The Seahawks came close in 2007 and 2005 as they finished sixth in the conference.
