Joe Lomeli is one of four Seahawk seniors who will serve as a team captain in 2018, along with Andrew Streilein, Andrew Park and Tanner Dixon.
 
2017: Saw action in all 15 games with 14 starts … Tallied 19 points in his first season as a Seahawk … Scored a total of 13 goals with six assists …. Knocked in a season-high three goals vs. Manhattan (2/11) and vs. VMI (3/7) … Collected a total of 14 groundballs on the season, earning a season-high four vs. Mount (4/15) … Credited with three caused turnovers.

At NJIT
2016: Appeared in all 15 games for the Highlanders, with 13 starts. ... led the team in goals (17) and ranked second in points (19). ... broke the NJIT men's lacrosse program record for goals in a game (4) against Vermont on 2/16. ... accumulated an 18 game scoring streak that started 2/20 and ended on 3/8 against Monmouth, during the streak he scored 29 goals.

2015: Appeared in all 12 games for the Highlanders with one start. ... lead the team in points (21) and goals (19). ... scored in every collegiate appearance, recording 1 hat-trick and scoring 2 or more goals in six out of NJIT's 12 games. ... tallied 15 ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Before Wagner: Played for Coach Louis VanBergen at Arthur L. Regional HS which is also the alma mater of Seahawk head coach Matt Poskay … Named the Crusaders’ team MVP as a senior … Four-year varsity performer who scored more than 100 career goals … Also a standout ice hockey player … Served as team captain of Johnson’s lacrosse and ice hockey teams … Competed for Leading Edge Elite Lacrosse Club.
