Personal/Bio: Played his high school lacrosse at Eastport South Manor HS in Manorville, NY while playing lacrosse under the direction of Kevin Huff…Earned the Team Sportsmanship and Most Improved Player Awards… High School teammate of current Seahawk Will Macumber…Also a standout on the football gridiron…Has younger brother Brandon (14).

Coach Rife on Matt Martins:
“Matt didn’t play lacrosse last year, he came out in the fall and is going to be a great all-around defenseman. Matt has the versatility to play close defense, to run at the pole in the midfield and has a very high game I.Q. He’s very good at his angles and his approaches, and he’s very good at his individual and team defense. He’s been a nice surprise for us this year.”
