Biography

Sophomore Season (2025-26): Fenced in 17 bouts, going 7-10. 

Freshman Season (2024-25): Fenced to a .500 winning percentage (21-21) during his first season on Staten Island. One of five Wagner men’s epeeists to qualify for the NC Fencing Regionals, where he grabbed a win in the first round. 

Before Wagner: Fenced for both the Phoenix Center in Poughkeepsie, NY, and the Rogue Fencing Academy in Woodbridge, CT. Torres won gold in men’s epee at the Connecticut High School Fencing Association State Championships. Most recently competed at the 2025 NEUSFA Pomme de Terre tournament, where he placed in the top third of the men’s epee category.
