Wagner College Athletics

Senior Season (2025-26): Fenced in 73 bouts throughout his final season on Grymes Hill, picking up the win in 30 of them. 10 of those wins came in the Drew Invitational. His .411 winning percentage was good enough to send him to the NC Fencing Regionals. Was named a Scholar of Distinction by the USFCA.

Junior Season (2024-25): Collected 29 bout wins during the season. Was one of two Wagner men’s foilists to qualify for the NC Fencing Regionals. 

Freshman Season (2023-24): Selected as a qualifier for the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals... Earned 34 individual victories during his debut campaign on Grymes Hill... Achieved a 12-6 record at the Drew Invitational to open his individual collegiate career.

Before Wagner: Fenced for five seasons at the Salle de Long Fencing School in El Paso, TX. He finished with 118 wins total with a .554 winning percentage. Lara accrued five top-3 finishes, most recently at the 2023 Wang Memorial Tournament.
