Dominc Palermo's TFRRS Profile (Top Performances and Meet Results)

2024 Outdoor (Graduate): Named NEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year… Ran a 3:59.44 time in the 1,500m at the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships (5/10-12)… Selected All-NEC first team for the 3000m steeple after winning gold at the NEC Championship (5/4-5) with a 9:10.89 time, also finishing fifth in the 5,000m (14:49.10)… Named NEC Track Athlete of the Week (5/1) after running a college-best 8:52.81 time in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Penn Relays (4/25-27)… Finished eighth in the 3,000m (9:17.62) at the Larry Ellis Invite (4/12-13)… Part of third-place 4x1,500 relay at the Colonial Relays (4/4-6) that ran a 16:19.78 time, also finishing seventh in the 5,000m invite (14:21.14)… Named NEC Track Athlete of the Week (4/3) after running a 9:01.75 time in the 3,000m to finish second at the Sam Howell Invitational (3/30)… Opened the season with a seventh-place finish in the 1,500m (3:49.53) at the UCF Knights Invite (3/22-23).

2023-24 Indoor (Graduate): Selected All-NEC second team for 3,000m and distance medley relay after winning silver in the 3,000m (8:25.82) and distance medley relay (10:09.74) at the NEC Championship (2/18-19), also taking home bronze in the mile with a 4:11.31 time… Logged a 1:56.06 time to finish eleventh of 103 in the 800m at the FastTrack National Invite (2/9)… Finished second in the mile at the Scarlet Knight oPen (2/2-3) with a 4:11.28 time… Logged an 8:16.17 time in the 3,000m at Boston University’s John Thomas Terrier Classic (1/26-27), also running 10:29.10 with distance medley relay team… Finished fourth in the 3,000m at the Penn Select 10 1/13) with an 8:17.28 time… Opened the season with a fourth-place finish in the mile at the Wagner Invitational (1/5) with a 4:12.86 time.

2022 Outdoor (Junior): At the NEC Outdoor Championships. Palermo finished the 5000m in eighth with a time of 15:19.73, and the 3000m Steeplechase in second with a time of 9:13.03.

Indoor 2021-22 (Junior): Palermo ran his best ever 800m with a time of 2:00.27 at the Villanova Indoor Meet. Palermo also PR'd in the 5000m and the 1500m during the outdoor season. Palermo's 1500m came with a time of 4:00.12 and his 5000m finished in 14:32.28.

Outdoor 2020-2021 (Sophomore): During the outdoor season, Palermo ran his best ever 10,000m at the NEC Championships with a time of 32:12.63, and a finish of fifth place. Palermo also ran the 5000m in 16:00.8, finishing in thirteenth; as well as finishing in third in the 3000m Steeplechase, with a time of 9:17.86.

Indoor 2019-2020 (Freshman): Ran the mile in 4:25.1 at the NEC Indoor Championships, which granted him thirteenth in the event.

Before Wagner:  Attended St. Joseph By The Sea High School where he was a three-year varsity member of the Vikings cross country and track & field programs under coach Chris Mancusi.  A National Honor Society selection in the classroom. On the course, he garnered the Vikings' MVP in 2017 & 2018 in cross country while receiving the Track & Field Coaches' Award in 2017. Was selected as a Staten Island Coaches All-Star his senior year in both track and cross country. In cross country, in his final season, he placed eighth at the Staten Island Championship, competing in the 5,000 meters, posting a time of 16:24.3. On the track, he holds two St. Joseph By The Sea program records in the 2K and 3K steeplechase. In the 2K steeplechase, he finished first at the Eastern States Invitational with a time of 6:09.41. In the 3K, he took home first-place honors at the CHSAA Varsity Intersectional City Championship, crossing the finish line with a time of 9:48.61. He is the son of Jennifer and Dominic Palermo.
