BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — The Wagner women's swimming & diving team is tied for the third spot in the NEC Preseason Poll with LIU, the conference announced Tuesday.
This is the third straight season that sees the Seahawks placed third in the preseason poll, and the third straight season where they have finished behind both CCSU and defending champion Howard. The Bisons topped the poll with four first-place votes, while CCSU was voted runner-up with three first-place votes.
The Seahawks finished third at the 2026 NEC Swimming & Diving Championships with 407 points, beating out Saint Francis (349) for the third spot.
Wagner will begin its season against Iona and Sacred Heart in New Rochelle, New York on Saturday, Oct. 17. The meet will take place at the Hynes Center Pool and will start at 11:30 a.m.
