LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. — Wagner women's track & field finished second at the Rider Invitational on Saturday at the Michael P. Brady Track & Field Complex.
Freshman
Olivia Roldan Casado led the charge for the Seahawks, earning a first-place finish in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 12:31.22. Freshman
Jessica Diaz followed with a fourth-place finish with a time of 14:57.12.
Junior
Victoria Ann Dziubela took second in the 800m with a time of 2:17.90. Junior
Angel Okafor placed fourth in the 400m with a time of 59.48, while junior
June Fernandez finished just behind in fifth with a time of 59.57. Fernandez also added a fourth-place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:10.88.
Sophomore
Ariel Kovach placed seventh in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16:69, while sophomore
Mia Petersen finished eighth in the 100m with a time of 12.67.
In the field events, Petersen earned a pair of top finishes, taking first in the triple jump with a mark of 11.86m and second in the long jump with a distance of 5.59m. Graduate student
Jovana Miloradovic placed third in the triple jump with a distance of 11.34m, followed by freshman
Rikayla Bingham (11.14m) in fourth and sophomore
Madison Maxwell (10.65m) in fifth.
Junior
Victoria Gontowicz finished fifth in the long jump with a distance of 5.19m, while Bingham added a ninth-place finish with a distance of 4.94m and took third in the high jump with a height of 1.45m. Senior
Saranda Capani placed fourth in the pole vault with a clearance of 3.20m.
Next up, the Seahawks will wrap up competition at the IC4A/ECAC Championships on Sunday, April 19, in Piscataway, New Jersey, before heading to the Penn Relays next week in Philadelphia.
