BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Seven Seahawks were named to All-NEC teams for indoor track & field season, the conference office announced on Monday.
Highlighting the first team on the men's side are senior Julio Martinez and freshman Noah Grant, who each won gold in their respective events at the 2025-2026 NEC Indoor Championships.
Martinez won a third consecutive NEC pole vault title this season, clearing 4.65m to finish first of eight competitors to earn a spot on the All-NEC first team.
Grant, who was also named Most Valuable Rookie at the meet, ran a 21.39-second 200m dash to win gold and also earn a first team nod.
On the women's side, sophomore Christine Manneh was named All-NEC first team for her gold-medal effort in the 200m final. She clocked in at 24.63 seconds to win that event. Competing in the 200m, 400m and 4x400 relay, Manneh was also named Most Valuable Performer of the sprinters.
Freshman Julio Tatis earns a spot on the NEC's second team in his first indoor season after previously only competing in outdoor season for 2025. The two-sport athlete won silver in the 400m dash at the conference championships, logging a 48.33-second time. Grant and Tatis each ran a leg of Wagner's silver-medal 4x400 relay team, joined by senior Dante Rodney and freshman Chase Rogers. The team ran a 3:17.85 time to win silver, also earning a place on the NEC's second team.
Junior June Fernandez won silver at the conference championship, running a 57.78-second 400m dash to earn a spot on the second team.
Announced alongside the meet's major award winners in February, Wagner freshmen Rehanna Syed was named to the conference's All-Rookie team on the women's side, alongside teammates Grant and Tatis on the men's side. A full release on their accomplishments can be found here.
Currently three weeks into the indoor season, the Seahawks will next head to Williamsburg, Virginia for William and Mary's Colonial Relays, beginning Friday, April 3 at Zable Stadium.
