BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Freshmen Rehanna Syed, Noah Grant and Julio Tatis were selected to the NEC's All-Rookie team after their performances at the 2026 NEC Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Syed was chosen on the women's side after logging a 5:30.18 time in the mile. She has been a steady presence for Wagner across her rookie season in both cross country and indoor track & field.

On the men's side, Grant was chosen after running a 21.39-second 200m to win gold. For his performances in the 60m, 200m and 4x400 relay, Grant was also chosen as the meet's Most Outstanding Rookie.

Tatis, after only competing in outdoor season for the 2024-2025 campaign, was named to the All-Rookie team in the 400m after running a 48.33-second time in his first indoor season.

The Seahawks will have a month off now that indoor season has concluded, picking up with outdoor season in the month of March.
