IRVINE, Calif. — Wagner women's water polo's
Francesca Sena has been named to the Cutino Award Watch List, USA Water Polo and The Olympic Club announced Thursday morning.
The award recognizes the best player in men's and women's collegiate water polo. This is Sena's first time to be named to the list. She's the fourth Seahawk in a row to earn this award, following
Carlota Alonso in 2025, Andrea Arias in 2024 and Abbey Simshouser in 2023.
In the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference this season, Sena has been named to the Defensive Player of the Week twice.

The Green & White travel to VMI this weekend for VMI-MAAC Showcase in Lexington, Virginia. Wagner opens the weekend on Saturday, March 28, with an early matchup against Virginia Military Institute at 8 a.m., followed by an afternoon contest against Mount St. Mary's (Md.) at 2 p.m. The Seahawks will close out the showcase on Sunday, March 29, taking on Iona at 12:30 p.m. at the VMI Aquatic Center.
