STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Going into the 2026 season, head coach Craig Noto has added a 10-man transfer class for the Seahawks.
The transfer class builds on a roster featuring 12 incoming freshmen and 23 returners, including 11 returning pitchers and 12 position players. The transfer class breaks down into two infielders, two outfielders and five pitchers.
Junior Dylan Immel is a transfer from Cerritos College, originally from El Segundo, California where he played at El Segundo High School. Immel appeared in 44 games, batting .327 in 2025 and leaving Cerritos with a .310 career batting average. In high school, he was All-League and won team MVP.
Junior Jackson Blakley arrives at Wagner from Sacramento City College, where he logged a .310 batting average across 45 games in his sophomore season. Blakley hit for a .241 his freshman season in 43 games played and leaves the Panthers with a .281 career batting average and 89 total hits. A native of Chico, California, he prepped at Pleasant Valley High School.
Junior Omar Carreras is an infielder from New Brunswick, New Jersey who spent two years at Tusculum University before transferring to Wagner. In 38 games, Carreras batted .279 wth 34 hits for 26 RBIs, working 29 walks.
Junior Evan McRae is an outfielder who arrives from De Anza College, where he was named first team all-conference and won a Gold Glove from the California Community College Athletic Association. One of two international players on the Wagner roster, McRae is from Coquitlam, British Columbia, where he played at Centennial Secondary School.
Redshirt junior Ethan Moran was most recently at Golden West College. The right-handed pitcher from West Covina, California was named first team All-League coming out of St. Paul High School and first team All-Conference coming out of junior college in 2024.
Junior Max Binnicker comes to Wagner after two years at the University of Minnesta-Morris, where he pitched 42 innings and was named to the All-Conference academic team. At Hopkins High School, Binnicker logged a 2.52 ERA and earned academic honor roll four times.
Redshirt sophomore Joseph Steventon is a right-handed pitcher who was most recently as Los Angeles Valley College. In 2024, Steventon started 13 games, with seven wins and an average 8.07 strikeouts per game.
From Burlington, Ontario, redshirt junior Jeff Tiw is a right-handed pitcher transferring from the University of Mary in North Dakota. Tiw made eight starts and 12 appearances in 2025 with the Marauders, striking out 21 in 33.2 innings of work.
A graduate of the University of Hawaii-Hilo, redshirt junior Braden Lowe is a right-handed pitcher who was named to the All-PacWest academic team while with the Vulcans. At Grover Cleveland High School, Lowe played four seasons on varsity, earning All-City, All-Area and All-League honors.
Junior Tyler Vargas comes to Wagner from Sacramento City Community College, where he spent two years, finishing with 24.1 innings pitched across 17 appearances. He struck out 29 batters and allowed just 27 hits, also playing in the NorCal All-Star game in his sophomore year. Vargas played three years on varsity at Jesuit High School, throwing a no-hitter in his junior year against Consumnes Oaks.

Wagner opens its season on Friday, Feb. 13 on the road at Virginia's Davenport Field at Disharoon Park. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. EST. The series will be streamed on the ACC Network+.
