LA JOLLA, Calif. — The Wagner softball team will start its 2026 season on Thursday, Feb. 5 at the La Jolla Invitational, on the campus of UC San Diego. The Seahawks finish on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Head Coach
Glenn Moore returns for his third season at the helm for the Seahawks, looking to lead the Green & White to their first NEC Tournament appearance since 2017. Last year, the Seahawks missed the postseason by just three games, despite a 9-3 conference record at home.
This season, the Seahawks were picked fourth in the 2026 NEC preseason poll, three spots higher than Wagner's finish in the 2025 poll..

Taylor Reynolds returns as the lone Seahawk to be named to the All-NEC First Team. Reynolds was also named to the All-NEC Rookie Team with fellow sophomore infielder
Alayna Giampolo.
Junior pitcher
Karson Zavala returns after her program-record 157 strikeouts on the season earned her a spot on the All-NEC Second Team.
The weekend tournament will see the Seahawks play hosts UC San Diego twice, and Montana twice before finishing the trip with a game against Saint Louis, a 2025 NCAA Tournament participant.
The first game will be against UCSD on Thursday, Feb 5 starting at 10 p.m. EST at the Triton Softball Field.
