NEW YORK, N.Y. — Senior Christopher Milillo set a new program record in weight throw at the Millrose Games on Friday, ultimately placing fifth in the event.
Competing in the weight throw at The Armory with an invitation to the Millrose Games, Milillo logged a 19.45m throw to finish fifth in the field of 10.
In the 118th installment of the games, Milillo was able to build on the previous record of 18.02m, set by Corey Durden on Jan. 14, 2023 at the Penn Select 10 meet. Milillo's previous personal best was an 18.01m weight throw earlier in the month, recorded on Jan. 9, 2026 at the Spartan Invitational.

This new progression comes just in time for the 2026 NEC Championships, roughly two weeks out. Wagner has the FastTrack National Invite on its schedule for Friday, Feb. 6 before it wraps up indoor season at the conference championship, beginning Sunday, Feb. 15 and wrapping up on Monday, Feb. 16.
