REHOBOTH, D.E. – The Wagner women's golf team continued its fall slate at the Battle at the Creek, finishing 14th overall with a team score of 1000 (+148) across three rounds at Kings Creek country Club.
Sophomore Maria Calleja once again paced the Seahawks, carding consistent rounds that kept her near the middle of the individual leaderboard. Close behind was fellow freshman Palwasha Ali, who turned in one of Wagner's strongest rounds of the weekend with a composed front nine on day two.
Senior Lilly McNally and freshman Lani Park each contributed steady rounds to round out Wagner's top four.
As a group, Wagner posted scores of 335, 318, and 347, showing improvement in round two before closing out play on Sunday.
The Seahawks will return to action on Saturday, September 20, when they are competing against St. Joseph's University in Woodstown, NJ at Llanerch Country Club.
