ELLICOTT CITY, Md. – The Wagner College women's golf team wrapped up the 2026 NEC Championship on Sunday, finishing in 11th place overall with a three-round team total of 1016 at Turf Valley Resort. The Seahawks posted a team score of 340 in the final round.
Freshman
Lani Park delivered a standout performance on the final day, firing a team-low 75 (+4) to surge up the leaderboard and secure a 10th-place individual finish to lead the Seahawks. Sophomore
Maria Fernanda Calleja Pineda, who led the team through the first two days, carded an 87 (+16) on Sunday to finish the tournament in 23rd place.
Freshman
Palwasha Ali posted a final-round 90 (+19) to claim 50th place overall.
Emma Shelby carded an 88 (+17) on the final day to finish in 52nd place, rounding out the tournament scorers for Wagner.
Howard University captured the 2026 NEC Championship team title, edging out FDU by two strokes.
