ELLICOTT CITY, Md. – The Wagner College women's golf team continued play at the 2026 NEC Championship on Saturday, carding a second-round team score of 335 (+51). The Seahawks improved upon their opening-round total by six strokes and remain in 11th place overall at Turf Valley Resort.
Freshman
Lani Park paced the Seahawks on day two, posting an 8-over par 79 to move into a tie for 15th place on the individual leaderboard. Sophomore
Maria Fernanda Calleja Pineda followed closely, carding a 9-over par 80 in her second round to sit in a tie for 11th place overall.
Freshman
Palwasha Ali showed significant improvement on Saturday, shaving five strokes off her opening-round score to post a 15-over par 86, moving her into a tie for 53rd.
Emma Shelby also improved upon her day one performance by four strokes, recording a 19-over par 90 to sit tied for 56th.
Rileigh Leighton rounded out the Wagner lineup with a 26-over par 97, placing 60th.
The NEC Championship will conclude with the third and final round on Sunday, April 19.
