Terrell Coburn has finalized the Seahawks' roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season. The team will feature nine returning players alongside four new additions.
"I'm very excited for this incoming class to make an impact here at Wagner," said Coburn. "I'm confident our newcomers will blend well with our returners and help elevate the program to new heights."
Priscila Varela | Guard | 5-9 | Idaho State | Cabinda, Angola
Varela joins the Seahawks as a redshirt senior after one season at Idaho State, where she appeared in 20 games during the 2024-25 campaign. She tallied a season-high 8 points and 4 rebounds against Arizona Christian and averaged 1.0 point and 0.5 rebounds per game. Varela redshirted the 2023-24 season and previously played two years at Pima Community College. As a sophomore at Pima, she started 24 of 25 games and averaged 8.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Jada Johnson | Guard | 5-5 | Gillette College | Ontario, Canada
Johnson arrives on Grymes Hill after two seasons at Gillette College in Wyoming and will have two years of eligibility remaining. In 2024-25, she appeared in 26 games and averaged 1.7 points per game. As a freshman, she made 13 starts in 15 appearances, averaging 6.0 points and 21.6 minutes per game. Johnson becomes the fourth Canadian on the Seahawks' roster.
Saioa San Francisco | Guard | 5-6 | Casper College | Pamplona, Spain
San Francisco comes to Wagner after two seasons at Casper College, where she started 26 of 30 games in 2024-25 and averaged 6.7 points and 2.5 assists per game. As a freshman, she played in 33 contests, shooting 34.4% from three-point range and averaging 2.5 points per game. She reunites with current Seahawk guard
Irene Fernandez de Caleya, a former teammate at Casper. San Francisco becomes the fourth Spanish player on the roster.
Alivia Landy | Guard | 5-10 | Columbia High School | East Greenbush, NY
Landy became the first member of Wagner's 2025 signing class after officially committing in December. Just one week later, she surpassed the 1,000-point milestone following a 20-point performance. A standout at Columbia High School in East Greenbush, NY, Landy averaged 17.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 4.0 steals per game during her senior year while shooting an impressive 87% from the free throw line. As a junior, she posted 19.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 steals, and 1.7 blocks per game, while averaging 14.7 points per game during her sophomore campaign. Landy also competed with Team Northeast Elite on the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) circuit.
