Northeast Fencing Conference Announces Academic All-Conference Recipients

Boston, MA – Eleven members of the Wagner fencing program have been named to the Northeast Fencing Conference's Academic All-Conference team, it was announced recently.

For the women's team, the honorees include seniors Katerina Cervenkova and Alex Cole; juniors Fanny Straub, Kailey Marino, Sofia Lopez Meneses, and Sierra Friday; and sophomores Alanna Clayton, Renata Ziganova, and Natalja Stiller.

On the men's side, sophomores Flavio Vinci and Noah Beitel received the honor.

To qualify for Academic All-Conference honors, a fencer must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher and participate in at least two-thirds of the team's competitions. 

Academic All-Conference honorees achieved a 3.7 or higher GPA during the season.
