Minneapolis, MN – The Wagner College softball team concluded their participation in the Gopher Classic with a tough 14-0 loss to St. Thomas.

In the second inning, The Seahawks had bases loaded after freshmen Noelle Estephan walked which led to sophomores Leilani Gonzales advancing to second base and Brityn Buchanan advancing to third. With base load they couldn't capitalize off the opportunity to score as junior Geanice Morales grounded to first base unassisted.
On the mound, junior Natalie Rodriguez took the loss, pitched 0.2 innings allowing one five runs with one hit. Junior Dallas Garcia relieved her by pitching two innings allowing eight hits but only allowing one run. Behind Garcia is junior Sophia Schmeglar who pitched 0.2 innings only allowing one run and not allowing a single hit.
