Softball Announces 2026 Schedule

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Wagner College head softball coach Glenn Moore announced the Seahawks' 2026 season schedule on Friday. 

The Seahawks will begin their season by taking part in the La Jolla Invitational on the campus of UC San Diego, from Thursday, February 5 to Saturday, February 7. Throughout the tournament, Wagner will play two games against host squad UC San Diego, two games against Montana, and a game against Saint Louis.

Wagner will then take a trip to Orlando and play in the Charge On Classic from Friday, February 27 to Sunday, March 1. The Seahawks will take on Dartmouth twice, host squad UCF, Florida A&M and George Washington during the tournament.

After a quick stop at St. John's on Wednesday, March 4, the Seahawks start their first home stand of the season on Saturday March 7. Wagner competes in a three-game weekend series against Manhattan, and will follow that up with a midweek double-header against Seton Hall on Wednesday, March 11.

Wagner plays its first NEC series on the road against Stonehill starting on Saturday, March 14. Last season, the Seahawks finished fifth in the conference, falling short of a postseason berth by just three games. 

After a home midweek double-header against Siena on Wednesday, March 18, the Seahawks will continue their conference schedule with a three-game road series against Mercyhurst from Saturday, March 21 to Sunday, March 22. Then, the Green & White host Stony Brook for a midweek doubleheader, and cap off the home stand with their first ever NEC showdown with New Haven from Saturday, March 28 to Sunday, March 29.

The Seahawks end the month with a road matchup against Rutgers on Tuesday, March 31, then return home for a weekend series with CCSU starting on Saturday, April 3.

Wagner then plays three straight road series, starting with a midweek conference series against LIU from Tuesday, April 7 to Wednesday, April 8. From Saturday, April 11 to Sunday, April 12, the Seahawks travel to Syracuse and face off against Le Moyne. Wagner ends its string of road games with a doubleheader against Saint Peter's on Tuesday, April 14.

Finally, Wagner concludes their 2026 regular season with consecutive home series against FDU from Saturday, April 25 to Sunday, April 26, and Saint Francis from Saturday, May 2 to Sunday, May 3.

The NEC Tournament begins on Thursday, May 7, and will be hosted at the campus of the conference's regular season champion.
