HOPKINTON, N.J. — Four Seahawks represented Wagner cross country at the NCAA Northeast Regional on Saturday, logging three personal-bet times to round out their 2025 season.
Held at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, New Jersey, the NCAA Northeast Regional featured a 10K course for the men and a 6K course for the women.
Sophomore Florian Hinry led the way for the men's team with a 31:14.2 time to finish 104th, logging a personal best in the 8K on his way to another personal best with his final 10K time.
Junior Joel Solomon ran a 33:35.2, also a personal best to cap off his first season as a Seahawk. He finished 239th.
Freshman Rehanna Syed logged a personal best to round out her first collegiate season, logging a 24:09.1 finish in the 6K to finish 240th. Just behind Syed was fellow freshman Jaslene Merizalde, who ran a 24:43.8 time.
