TROUTMAN, N.C. — The Wagner College triathlon team earned a 10th-place team finish on Saturday at the NCAA East Regional Qualifier, held at Lake Norman State Park in Troutman, North Carolina.
Facing a competitive field of varsity programs from across the region, the Seahawks battled through the sprint-distance course, which featured a 750-meter swim, 19-kilometer bike, and 5-kilometer run through the rolling terrain of the park.
Junior Ulrikke Gaare-Olstad led the way for Wagner, placing 46th overall with a time of 1:13:41.3. She was followed closely by junior Olivia Roldan-Casado, who finished 50th in 1:15:21, while senior 
Leticia Campos rounded out the Seahawks' lineup, clocking 1:19:01.2.
Wagner returns to action on Saturday, November 8, competing at the NCAA Division I National Championship in Tempe, Ariz.
