Triathlon Kicks Off 2025 Campaign at Duquesne Invitational

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Wagner College triathlon team opens its 2025 season on Saturday, September 20, at the Duquesne Invitational in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.

Led by first-year head coach Ross Lippe, the Seahawks begin their campaign at this meet for the third consecutive year. The course consists of a 750-meter swim, 20k bike, and 5k run, with the race set to start at 7:30 a.m.

Wagner's returning lineup features seniors Leticia Campos and Kayla Renwick, juniors Ulrikke Gaare Olstad and Olivia Roldan Casado, and sophomore Brooke Beauchesne. The Seahawks also welcome freshman Nele Schlesinger from Nanjing, China.

Last fall, Wagner capped its season with a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Nationals. Roldan Casado led the Seahawks with a 112th-place finish in 1:10:52, followed by Campos in 140th (1:16:03) and Beauchesne in 155th (1:19:16).

Following the Duquesne Invitational, the Seahawks will travel to Rock Hall, Maryland for the Waterman's Triathlon Festival on Sunday, September 28.
