Ross Lippe Named Head Coach Of Women’s Triathlon

Staten Island, NY – Wagner College Director of Athletics Brendan Fahey has announced the hiring of Ross Lippe as the new head coach of the Seahawks' women's triathlon program.

Lippe joins Wagner with a strong background in sports business, sponsorship development, and elite-level athletics. He currently serves as Brand Alliances Manager for Major League Soccer, where he helps generate new business revenue through corporate sponsorships, while aiding in the launch of several key new marketing platforms and grassroots initiatives.

Prior to his time at MLS, Lippe worked with USA Triathlon in Colorado Springs, holding multiple roles in business development. As Senior Coordinator, he helped secure endorsements for athletes competing in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. He also played a key role in launching innovative properties and marketing campaigns to elevate the sport nationwide.

A former Division I student-athlete, Lippe competed as a swimmer at Marist College, where he served as team captain and president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He was recognized with the prestigious James Pizzani Award for excellence in education and service, and was a three-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree.

"We are thrilled to welcome Ross to Wagner," said Fahey. "His passion for triathlon, combined with his leadership and experience in growing sports programs at the highest level, make him an ideal fit to lead our women's triathlon team. We are excited for the future of this program under his guidance."

Lippe brings with him deep ties to the endurance sports community, as well as proven expertise in building relationships and creating growth opportunities. His vision aligns with Wagner College's commitment to supporting student-athletes both in competition and in the classroom.
