STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Wagner College football team was named a
Stats Perform FCS National Team of the Week honorable mention on Monday, October 27, following its 24–13 home victory over RV Duquesne.
The Seahawks limited the Dukes to just 240 total yards—well below their conference average of 398 yards per game—while forcing two fumbles and collecting a pair of interceptions.
Offensively, Wagner dominated on the ground, rushing for 249 yards and totaling 311 yards of offense, marking the most Duquesne has allowed in NEC play this season.
Wagner returns to action next Saturday, November 1, traveling to Loretto, Pa., to face Saint Francis U at 1:00 p.m.
