LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Former Seahawk linebacker Cam Gill made his UFL debut over the weekend as a member of the Louisville Kings.

The Kings, competing in their inaugural UFL season, opened the campaign on Friday, March 27 with a 15–13 loss to the Birmingham Stallions.

Gill made an immediate impact in his debut, recording three total tackles—all solo—including one tackle for loss.

A 2020 graduate of Wagner and one of the program's most decorated players, Gill earned STATS FCS First Team All-America honors, was named a HERO Sports FCS Second Team All-American and an Associated Press Third Team All-American, and garnered All-ECAC First Team recognition. He also competed in the prestigious East-West Shrine Bowl following the 2019 season.

The Douglasville, Ga. native became just the fifth player in Northeast Conference history to repeat as the league's Defensive Player of the Year and concluded his collegiate career as the NEC's all-time leader with 34 sacks. During his standout 2019 season, Gill led the conference with 9.5 sacks while totaling 20 tackles for loss and 60 tackles in 12 games. He also received an invitation to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and was a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, presented annually to the top defensive player in the FCS.

Gill went on to spend four seasons in the NFL, appearing in 50 games and recording 51 tackles. He was also a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Super Bowl championship team in 2021.
