Women's Soccer Drops Road Contest To Binghamton

Vestal, NY - The Wagner women's soccer team dropped its road contest to Binghamton, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon. 

Binghamton rattled off three goals in the second half to defeat the Green & White. 

The Seahawks put eight shots on goal on the day, with only one additional shot being off target. Freshmen Hailey Knapp and Anna Shepard, and senior Olivia Rubbo led the way with two shots a piece.

Senior Sam Hughes made four saves on the day, which ties her with Dana Honcharuk (1999-00) on the all-time saves list with 262 career saves.

Hughes will aim to standalone in second place when the Seahawks travel to Loyola (MD) on Thursday, September 12.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
