David Sierra announced the hiring of Paul Vag-Urminsky as the Assistant Coach for the men's and women's fencing team.

Paul Vag-Urminsky is a highly accomplished fencing professional with over 18 years of experience as both an international athlete and coach specializing in epee. A member of the Cambodian National Team, Paul has represented his country on the world stage, earning recognition as both a U.S. and Cambodian National Champion. Throughout his career, he has achieved multiple international medals, solidifying his reputation as an elite competitor.
In addition to his athletic achievements, Paul is the owner and head coach of Staten Island Fencing Club, where he is dedicated to developing athletes and promoting excellence in the sport. His leadership and coaching philosophy focus on technical mastery, strategic thinking, and personal growth, inspiring fencers to reach their full potential.
Paul's educational background includes undergraduate work at St. John's University and an MBA from Hofstra University.
