STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.
Field Hockey
- Wagner continues its playoff push as the Seahawks host NEC opponent Merrimack on Friday, October 17 for the annual 'Pink Game'. Opening center pass is set for 3:00 p.m. at the Wagner College Field Hockey Complex.
- The Seahawks then take on Ivy League member Columbia at the Baker Athletics Complex on Sunday, October 19. The Seahawks-Lions matchup is scheduled for 1:00 p.m in Inwood.
Football
- Wagner continues conference play next Saturday, hosting defending NEC champion Central Connecticut State for Homecoming Weekend on Hameline Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
- Prior to the game, four former Seahawks will be inducted into the Wagner Athletics Hall of Fame, and the annual "Wagner Gameday" show will air live from the Oval beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Men's Cross Country
- The Seahawks will be competing at the IC4A/ECAC Cross Country Championships on Friday, October 17 at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx for their final meet before the 2025 NEC Championships.
Men's Golf
- Wagner is still competing at Bucknell Fall Invitational in Lewisburg, PA until Tuesday, October 14 at the Bucknell Golf Club.
Men's Tennis
- Wagner will compete at the ITA Regionals in Princeton, NJ. The event starts on Thursday, October 16 and concludes on Sunday, October 19.
Men's Water Polo
- The Seahawks will be traveling to Cambridge, Massachusetts to compete at Harvard Invite this weekend. On Saturday, October 18 they're facing Harvard and MIT at Blodgett Pool and on Sunday, October 19 they will compete against Brown and LIU at Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.
Men's Swimming & Diving
- The Green & White will compete against Iona from Friday, October 17 through Saturday, October 18 at the Hynes Center Pool in New Rochelle, NY.
Women's Cross Country
- In their last meet before heading to the 2025 NEC Championships, the Seahawks are heading to the Bronx for the IC4A/ECAC Cross Country Championships at Van Cortlandt Park on Friday, October 17.
- Wagner boasts the reigning NEC Athlete of the Week after junior Rylee Ferretti earned the nod for her performance at the Paul Short Run.
Women's Golf
- The Seahawks will travel to Hempstead, NY on Wednesday, October 15. They will be competing in the last game of the fall in the Piciotto vs Hofstra at the Trump National Golf Course.
Women's Soccer
- Wagner will compete at Le Moyne in Syracuse, NY on Sunday, October 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Ted Grant Field.
- With five games remaining in the regular season, the Seahawks sit fifth in the NEC standings—just one point behind Howard and CCSU for third place—as they continue their push for a top-four finish and a berth in the NEC Tournament.
Women's Swimming & Diving
- The Green & White will compete against Iona from Friday, October 17 through Saturday, October 18 at the Hynes Center Pool in New Rochelle, NY.
- The Seahawks will compete against Sacred Heart while at the Iona Tri-Meet. The divers will compete on October 17, while the swimmers will compete on October 18.
