Bridgewater, NJ - The Wagner women's indoor track & field team was picked to finish second in the NEC Preseason Coaches Poll, the conference announced Tuesday. 

The Seahawks, who finished second at last season's NEC Championships, trail only the defending Champions, CCSU.

The Blue Devils tallied six first place votes to Wagner's two.

SFU, Stonehill, LIU, FDU, Chicago State and Le Moyne finish the rest of the poll.

The Green & White season has already begun, garnering four first place finishes at the Fast Track Season Opener on December 6. 

Next up, the Seahawks will host the Seahawk Shootout on Friday, December 13 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
