Women’s Lacrosse Welcomes Eight Players For The 2024 Season

Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College women's lacrosse program led by head coach Kelly McPartland has welcomes 15 newcomers for the upcoming 2024 season.

"We are very excited to welcome eight new additions to our family," McPartland said. "Each of our new additions has the opportunity to make an immediate impact in our program and help us continue building towards our ultimate goal."

Sydney Ecker - Midfield - Duxbury, MA
A graduate of Duxbury High School in Duxbury, MA.
Alex Wright - Midfield - Parsippany, NJ
A graduate of Parsippany Hills High School, Alex was named All-Group Two, FIrst Team All-Conference and Second Team All-County throughout her high school career.
 
Grace DeCarolis - Goalie - Ridley, PA
A four-year varsity starter at Ridley High School, all-time saves leader and two-time Central league Honorable Mention. In the classroom, Grace was named to the National Honors Society.
 
Amelia Logan - Attack - Monroe, CT
In 2022, Amelia was All-Conference and Class M All-State First Team. In 2021, she was All-Division and an All-Academic performer.
 
Léa Cini - Attack - Merion Station, PA
A graduate of Lower Merion High School.
 
Lauren Samela - Cheshire, CT - Cheshire High School
Under Armour All-American in 2021, Under Armour All-American Watch List in 2023. NXT Philadelphia Showcase All-Star Game participant. New York All-Showcase Team. First Team All-SCC, Second Team All-State.
 
Kendra Hamilton - Attack/Midfield - Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
Co-captain at Claremont Secondary School, MVP senior female of the women's lacrosse team while winning the Athletic Excellence Award and the Athletic Service Award.
 
Rileigh Baggett - Defense/Midfield - Madison, NJ
As a sophomore, Rileigh was All-Group One Second Team, NJIGLL Freedom Conference Second Team and Academic All-Conference.

As a junior, she was All-Morris County and an All-Academic Conference member. As a senior, Rileigh was All-Group One First Team, First Team All-Morris County, NJIGLL Freedom Conference First Team, a National Honor Scholar Athlete and an Academic All-Conference honoree.
