TEANECK, N.J. — The Wagner College women's lacrosse team wrapped up its 2026 season with an 11-6 loss to the FDU Knights on a rainy University Field on Saturday.
Senior Kristina Pisano scored the first goal for the Seahawks (6-9, 6-3 NEC) late in the first quarter to make it a 2-1 game. The Needham, Massachusetts native finished the season third on the team in goals scored with 22.
The Knights (10-7, 6-3 NEC) would score five goals in the second quarter to take a 7-1 lead into halftime. In the first half, FDU attempted 20 shots to Wagner's five, with the Knights converting two free-position shots on three attempts.
In the third, both teams scored one goal with junior Amelia Logan capitalizing for Wagner. Logan finished the season with a team-high 28 goals scored.
In the final frame, FDU scored the first three goals before Wagner answered with four of its own. For the Seahawks, Pisano sophomore Sydney Mulroony, junior Emily Ryan, and freshman Avery White were responsible for Wagner's scores.
In the fourth, the Seahawks took 10 shots to Knights seven and collected five draw controls to FDU's two.
After 60 minutes of play, the Knights prevailed 11-6.
Freshman Isabella Odland and junior Grace DeCarolis split duties in net, with Odland saving five shots while DeCarolis recorded three.
As a team, Wagner earned 13 draw controls to FDU's six, but finished with a clear success rate of 14-24 (58.3%) while FDU finished 21-23 (91.3%). The Knights converted 4-8 (50.0%) free-position shots to Wagner's 2-6 (33.3%).
The 2026 Wagner Seahawks concluded its 2026 season with a 6-9 overall mark, and finished 6-3 in the NEC for fifth place in the standings.
