Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College men's lacrosse team dropped its final game of the season, 6-2 at Hameline Field on senior day.
In a low-scoring first half, the Jaspers held the Seahawks without a goal as Wagner generated 13 shots and five on target. Senior goalkeeper
Danny Brady stopped 11 shots in the opening 30 minutes.
After Manhattan opened the second half with a goal, Wagner got on the scoresheet in the third quarter as
Conor Julich cut into the Manhattan lead off an assist from
Patrick Caldwell.
CJ Sweitzer tallied a goal in the fourth quarter to make the contest 4-2, but Manhattan ended the game on a 2-0 run to earn the 6-2 victory.
In his final game as a Seahawk,
Danny Brady stopped 16 shots. As a team, the Seahawks tallied 24 total shots in the final game of the season.
