16 Women's Water Polo Student-Athletes Named To 2021-22 MAAC Academic Honor Roll

Edison, NJ- The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) today announced that a total of 2,958 student-athletes were named to the 2021-22 MAAC Academic Honor Roll.
 
"On behalf of the MAAC, I'd like to congratulate all 2,958 student-athletes named to the 2021-22 Academic Honor Roll," said MAAC Commissioner Rich Ensor. "It is a great testament to each institutions' commitment to excellence."

For Wagner, 16 student-athletes on the women's water polo team received this honor. Carlota Alonso, Andrea Arias, Kristina Bell, Sofia Diaz Alvarez, Emily Geld, Hayden Hulser, Anna Hyde, Malia Josephson, Ilayda Kocak, Lizzy Koerper, Skye Nankervis, Pip Nash, Abbey Simshauser, Emma Stec, Casey Taylor, and Mikaela Wells all landed on the 2021-22 MAAC Academic Honor Roll List.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Academic Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members in the MAAC. All 24 conference-sponsored sports are represented.
 
Marist College named 336 student-athletes to the Academic Honor Roll, leading the MAAC for the 21st consecutive year. Fairfield University followed, naming 283 student-athletes to the list, Monmouth University was third with 270 recipients, and Iona University and Quinnipiac University added 261 each to round out the top-5.
 
Sacred Heart University (Women's Rowing) led all MAAC associate members with 40 honorees. Drake University (Women's Rowing) and St. Bonaventure University (Men's Lacrosse) were tied for second with 31 selections. Jacksonville University (Women's Rowing) placed 29 on the list and La Salle University (Women's Golf and Water Polo) added 25 on the Academic Honor Roll.
