Carlota Alonso And Magali Ogg Named ACWPC Honorable Mention All-Americans

Bridgeport, PA – Senior Carlota Alonso and junior Magali Ogg of the Wagner women's water polo team have been named Honorable Mention All-Americans by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).

Alonso becomes the first player in program history to earn All-American honors three times. A native of Barcelona, Spain, Alonso was previously named an All-American in 2023 and capped an exceptional 2025 campaign as the MAAC Co-Player of the Year and MAAC Tournament MVP. She totaled 120 goals, 49 assists, and 58 steals, and was named MAAC Player of the Week five times—setting a conference record. Alonso also led the Seahawks with five goals in their 19-7 NCAA Tournament first-round win over McKendree.

Ogg collects her first career All-American honor following a standout season that included 61 goals. A First Team All-MAAC selection and MAAC All-Tournament Team honoree, Ogg played a pivotal role in Wagner's 17-10 MAAC Semifinal victory over Mount St. Mary's, recording five goals and one assist.
