Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College softball team will host Saint Francis U at the Lower Field on Saturday and Sunday in a pivotal Northeast Conference (NEC) series.
Both teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, with first pitch scheduled for 1:00 pm, before playing the final game of the series on Sunday at noon. All games will stream on NECFrontRow.
The Seahawks enter the series with an 11-7 mark in NEC action, while the Red Flash sit at 14-4 in what is shaping up to be a tight race for the four spots in the conference tournament. With two weeks remaining on the schedule, six teams in the NEC have nine conference wins or more.

Nora Conway enters the weekend as the reigning NEC Co-Player of the Week. The senior recorded five multi-hit games last week, recording two hits apiece in all three games against LIU and three hits apiece in the final two games against Sacred Heart.
Conway also scored six runs in the process while recording three RBIs. In Wagner's midweek game at Lafayette, Conway recorded two hits once again and leads the team with 37 hits on the season.
In the circle, sophomore
Scarlett Lloyd went 3-0 last week and made history. Lloyd surpassed 100 strikeouts for her career as well as this season and now sits second all-time in program history for strikeouts in a single season with 105. Lloyd only trails Krystle Petty, who struck out 113 batters in 2001.
Senior
Natalie Del Ponte enters the series with 97 career hits, looking to become the latest Seahawk to accomplish a career milestone this season.
