Women's Golf Places Second At Hawk Spring Invite; McLean Finishes Second On Players Leaderboard

Lakewood, NJ- The Wagner women's golf finished second out of three teams on Thursday at the Hawk Spring Series at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club.
 
Heather McLean placed second on the players leaderboard, shooting a 78 (+6) on the day. She finished two strokes back of Monmouth's Claire Orr. Aisha Rodriguez and Kyree Conaway also cracked the top five for Wagner, finishing tied for fourth with an 81 each (+9).
 
The Seahawks as a team shot a 326, five strokes behind Monmouth for first place. Stockton finished third at 422. Also competing for the Green & White were Elise Fujita (83), Ximena de la Garza (84), and Audrey Paradis (86).
 
Seniors Heather McLean and Kyree Conaway were honored at today's match as part of senior day festivities on the course. Wagner is back in action next Wednesday-Friday for the NEC Championship in Daytona Beach, FL.
