Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College softball team will start Northeast Conference (NEC) play this weekend, as the Seahawks travel to Mount St. Mary's for a three-game series, with two games on Saturday and one game on Sunday.
First pitch on Saturday is scheduled for 1:00 pm, while Sunday's game is set for a 12 pm first pitch.

The Seahawks enter the weekend with the third-highest batting average in the NEC at .250, while leading the league with a .976 fielding percentage.
Individually, sophomore
Scarlett Lloyd leads the Seahawks with a .377 average and 10 RBIs, while also leading the Green and White with 46 strikeouts in the pitching circle.
For her performances last week, Lloyd was named an NEC Prime Performer, along with freshman
Kate Wolf, who is second on the team with 18 hits this year.
Offensively, the Seahawks have six players with 10 or more hits this season, while Lloyd and sophomore
Keaghan Ward lead the Seahawks with 10 RBIs.
This weekend marks Wagner's first trip to Emmitsburg since 2018. Last year, the season series was cut short due to rain, as the Mount earned an 8-7 victory in the lone game of the series.
The Mountaineers come into the weekend with a 7-14 record and 1-2 conference mark after opening league play with two losses in three games against Merrimack.
