Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College softball team will travel to Manhattan on Sunday for a non-conference doubleheader, with first pitch scheduled for 12 pm.
The Seahawks have won three of their last four games, including a midweek sweep at Saint Peter's.
In the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader, sophomore
Scarlett Lloyd turned in a dominant performance, only allowing two hits in a complete game shutout while striking out eight batters to earn the victory in the circle. Offensively, the sophomore collected three hits and one RBI.
The Jaspers enter Sunday's series with a 2-12 record after splitting with Hartford on Friday.
With Northeast Conference (NEC) play only one week away, Wagner has five players who have double digit hits on the season in Lloyd, sophomore

Penelope Russ. Lloyd and Ward lead Wagner with 10 RBIs apiece.

Eve Harvey leads the way with three wins, while Lloyd paces the Seahwaks with 35 strikeouts.
Following this weekend's action, Wagner will travel to Rider on March 23, with first pitch scheduled for 2:30 pm.
