Queens, NY – The Wagner College women's basketball fell to #25 St. John's 81-50 to wrap up the team's non-conference slate.
The Seahawks battled with the Red Storm in the first quarter, despite being outscored 23-12. The Green & White shot 2-5 from three-point range while shooting 5-13 from the field.

Zhaneia Thybulle and freshman Angelie Ricard each led the way with five points each in the frame.
The Seahawks entered the second half down 37-27 while shooting 41.7% from deep in the opening 20 minutes.
In the third quarter, St. John's outscored Wagner 21-17 as the Seahawks continued to shoot well as they shot 5-11 from the field.
The Red Storm put a stamp on the contest in the final quarter as they held Wagner to seven points while scoring 21 of their own.
Sophomore
Lina Loceniece led the offensive attack for Wagner with 13 points on 5-7 shooting and three three-pointers made.
Zhaneia Thybulle also scored in double figures as the reigning Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Week tallied 10 points, four rebounds and three assists.
The loss brings Wagner to 5-6 heading into NEC play.
Wagner will open NEC play at Saint Francis U on January 2 with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 pm.
