Staten Island, NY – Wagner women's fencing coach David Sierra has announced the team's 2023 spring schedule.
The spring slate consists of four regular season meets before season shifts to the postseason.
The Seahawks will begin the spring season on January 21 at the Philadelphia Invitational hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.
Following the trip to Philadelphia, the Seahawks will host the Brian Palestis Memorial Invitational on February 5 at the Spiro Sports Center.
"We are looking forward to the second half of our season, including our home meet," head coach David Sierra said.
Seven days later, Wagner will go to Teaneck, NJ to participate in the FDU Invitational.
After the FDU Invitational, Wagner will head to Brooklyn, NY to take place in the LIU Invitational in its final regular season meet.
"We have our eyes on qualifying as many fencers as possible to regionals and showing what our team is capable of against some strong opponents."
Wagner will participate in the NWIFA Championships on March 4 before competing in the Mid-Atlantic/South Regional competition on March 11.
The NWIFA Championships will be hosted by Drew University while the Mid-Atlantic/South Regional competition will be held at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
