New Rochelle, NY- The Wagner women's swimming & diving team completed the Iona Invitational on Saturday.
 
The Seahawks defeated Sacred Heart, 142-99 and fell to Iona, 130-93. Aura Vilarrasa had a another impressive meet, finishing first in the 200 Yard Backstroke at 2:06.00. In the same event, Bree Anderson finished third with a time of 2:12.03.
 
Olivia Bishop finished second in the 200 Yard Freestyle after hitting the wall at 1:58.53. Abbie Hassell touched the wall second in the 50 Yard Freestyle at 25.04. In the 200 Yard Individual Medley, Bree Anderson and Maile Mora finished second and third, respectively.
 
In the 100 Yard Freestyle, Wagner took the 2-4 spots in the event. Annie Jencova hit the wall at 53.93, followed by Hassell at 54.77, and Bishop at 55.02. Taylor Marjamaa finished second in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:22.39.
 
The Seahawks' 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team made up of Vilarrasa, Jencova, Bishop, and Hassell hit the wall first at a collective 3:33.64.
 
Wagner returns to the pool in two weeks to take on Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, MD on Saturday, October 29.
